An artist who I’ve been watching for a while is Krishu, who resides on the West Coast. He’s impressed me with his singles such as “HAN SOLO,” “Arcteryx,” and “Shein,” to name a couple. He most recently dropped an energetic single titled “MaceLee Freestule,” featuring Yung Bambi who both absolutely bodied this track from start to finish with backing production by hounds and thayerperiod.
You’ll first notice Krishu’s adlibs in the beginning of the track, transitioning into the intro backed by demanding 808’s and a galactic alien-like melody. Shortly after, you’ll hear Yung Bambi slide in with his exceptionally mixed vocals, making his existence known loud and clear. The energy these two bring to this track is unmatched, going verse for verse, transitioning flawlessly back from one another. I’m more interested in the wordplay presented by both Krishu and Yung Bambi, mixing that with different flows.
