Whether it be finding out about ssgkobe through Lyrical Lemonade or from him being featured on Kaash Paige’s album, I can guarantee that you’ve heard his name one way or another.
Ssgkobe just released a seven track project just a little over a month from releasing the well known single “Calabasas”, which features $NOT and was featured on Lyrical Lemonade.
Track one, which is titled “listen before you indulge”, gives a mysterious introduction, yet very suspenseful which leads into the second track. The way that kobe executed a very beautiful guitar melody on the second track with very well laid out drums, shows how versatile he can really be.
The third track, titled “Condo”, which features BoofPaxkMooky, really shows the listener how he can handle a trap’nb production. This track really reminds me of his older sound from late 2018, early 2019, but with cleaner vocals and a more mature kobe.
With a 21 Savage type production on track 4, which is titled “Angels”, he really shows you that while some of his previous work can be on the softer side of things, he comes very aggressive on this track. My favorite part is the spongebob type song, the last 20 seconds of the song.
Kobe really shows the inner side of himself on the fifth track titled “why are you scared?” Which he just harmonizes over a ukulele melody with no drums. Like I stated earlier, kobe is very good at showing how versatile he is in the music scene.
My personal favorite is track 6, which is titled “Again,” where he really reveals a different side of himself. He hits the high notes very well, considering we have never heard a song like this from kobe before. The production is perfect and he compliments the beat so much.
Last but not least, “Calabasas”, is going to be the song that new kobe fans will remember him by for their first song they heard by him. With a very nice flow and the way that himself and $NOT carry this production is flawless.
