Mynameisntjmack Has A Story To Tell On His New EP – BOOKMARK

I first got introduced to mynamisntjmack last year when a close homie of mine put me on to his music. Shortly after I got to see Jamck perform live with Tommy Richman. When the duo shut down an “Everything Is Punk” show in Los Angeles, when they performed their collaborative track “BUNKER/PREROLL”.

During that performance it was solidified for me, that both these dudes were stars. Jmack recently dropped his newest body of work titled, BOOKMARK. The lead up singles to this project were “walk around”, “Leak”, and “transport”. The whole project is 6 cuts in length, with Jmack speaking on the trials & tribulations of his life, over smooth crispy production, paired with angelic but ruthless rhyme schemes.

Knowing Jmack was gearing up for a project release, I was really hoping that we’d see a track from himself and Mr. Richman once more. We start off hot with just that, the track is titled “numbersnshit”. Off rip we have Jmack delivering an infectious hook, with Tommy coming in with supporting earth moving vocals. This has to be my favorite joint off the project.

Jmack has this real nostalgic & down to earth sound to his music, almost if you mixed Andre 300 & Common together. Each release I continue to see Jmack’s growth and drive flourish, he’s always working. I’m really looking forward to the visuals that will accompany BOOKMARKS

“outtheway” & “scars” are the other new cuts off this EP, with both tracks having no features Jmack is really able to showcases his rhyming abilities. “outtheway” is more up beat, and in your face. While the track “scars” is our closing single of the project, with Jmack giving us a more vulnerable side of himself.

Production off BOOKMARKS enlisted the talents of Gutty, John Wehmeyer, Zach Neiss, Stoicbeats, Limo, and Yutu Midi. All these guys really need their flowers, they put together an absolute masterpiece. Be sure to stream mynameisntjmack’s new EP BOOKMARK, linked below-available on all streaming platforms.
