Yes I might be an “old head” now that i’m 27-years-old, but some people my age would tell you that the 90’s and early 2000’s was the best era for all music. I don’t know if I totally agree, but I know why people think that. The music was raw, and not over-produced specifically in the punk rock genre. One artist who is bringing this vibe back goes by the name Vxnny. He’s a young artist from Long Island, taking strides to revive the genre and bring back those emotional punk rock tracks with a new age spin on them.
This week, Vxnny releases a brand new single titled “Side With Your Friends” and it immediately brought me back to my early teenage days, and dug up a lot of the feelings you experience as a young man, specifically during fallen relationships.
