This Milwaukee rapper Lakeyah has been working with Quality Control Music, a dream she’s had for a while. After achieving her first goal, she wants to continue her career in music. Having a crazy year in 2020, with a tremendous amount of growth over her 2 albums she gave to her supporters including features like 42 Dugg, City Girls, and having her first album The Keymix II featureless showing her true story and the versatility she has with her flow.
This 19-year old rapper has had a lot of growth throughout the number of videos she was putting out on her youtube, with the recent video dropping with her song Poppin featuring Gucci Mane, with the music video being worked under the Quality Control team. Throughout the music video, she gives off crazy Cardi B vibes, with the flow she has on this song and the confidence she has as a person.

Now with her first project this year, she gave us a sneak peek with Easy dropping earlier in 2021, but on April 9th we were given the full 12 song album with features of Gucci Mane and Yung Bleu. She did not disappoint with any of these songs, this full project showed that Lakeyah is here to stay, being one of my favorite female artists recently. wait till she has the spotlight and shows are back. I won’t be surprised once she starts stepping near Cardi B or Megan Thee Stallion. As Quality Control has an amazing track record growing Lil baby and Migos. Lakeyah will be the next big artist coming from QC
