Ded Stark is a multi-talented artist who makes music from the heart, and on February 14th he unveiled an animated video for the song “Single”. The animation was created by Ded Stark himself, and features a variety of hand-drawn symbols relating to the melody’s lyrical content.
On “Single”, Ded Stark discusses his struggles with isolation, thoughts of going completely off-grid, and trust issues when it comes to putting himself out there to seek romance. Keeping the same medium tone with layered vocals that add just the right amount of depth to his delivery over a beat consisting of 808’s coupled with low-pitched guitar synths and a snare that sounds like chains hitting a hard surface. Sonically, the track reminds me of the beloved late and great Lil’ Peep, and how he flowed on “Lil Kennedy“.
