Taking us back in time “Beetyl” has that sound that could give you a nostalgic memories. His style this tape “Manuscript For The Self Obsessed” reminds me of being back in my bedroom at times jammin Panic At The Disco then flips around to when I was playing something more along the lines of 90’s hiphop with tracks like “Murder Your Muse”. With this classic refreshing sound he delivers a soulful production throughout the entire project. His way of mixing soft melodies with upbeat ballads. Even throwing in some lyricism. This overall project is well diversified and has something for every kind of listener. Bringing back a good feeling long lost in the past is what this project comes down to for me. I would recommend listening a few times through definitely one that grows on you with every past through. Looking forward to seeing what’s next for Beetyl.
