This past week, 25-year-old Midwest-born hip-hop artist Max Wells (@max4thepeople) finally delivered the music video for his new single “Mistakes”. The song was released about a month ago and features a verse from BIGBABYGUCCI (@bigbabygucci).
Max Wells is well known for his melodic delivery of thoughtful and affectionate lyrics over piercing cadences. “Mistakes” is an emotional bop centered around the tension that may exist between two individuals in love, especially in moments of prolonged isolation. Dancer/Model/Creative Nia Hutchinson (@nialonette) gives a compelling performance as the female lead in the short film. Directed by SPACED VISUALS (@spacedvisuals), the visual showcases Max and Nia in a variety of spaces, all lit with colored florescent lighting. Overall, this release is sure to gain Max Wells some more attention, as well as everyone else involved on behalf the the excellent execution of this video production.
