Landstrip Chip Turns the “Lights On”

Landstrip Chip is back with his latest single, Lights On, where his flows and melodies immediately put you into a vibe. This is the first song he has dropped on Spotify in over a year, and it was worth the wait. I was immediately impressed by his hypnotizing and soothing vocals throughout the track. He used only a few ad libs and background vocals, but by carefully placing them in all the right places, he created excellent movement throughout the song. One of the most honest lyrics that I particularly enjoyed was “even though I’m up, you know I’ve been down.” It’s important to not forget where you come from, and to acknowledge your past; Landstrip Chip isn’t one to forget this.
