Tino SZN X Flight Crew “Take Flight” Music Review

Tino Szn “Take Flight” is a vibe for real no exaggeration at all, the 6 track tape gave me nothing but positive up’s and downs from production to writing. It was complete and provided perspectives of hope and faith but with a braggadocios tone attached to it which is no easy accomplishment with a project with just 6 songs listed. Flight Crew didn’t disappoint at all loved every 16 minutes of this mix tape. while it was disappointing to only have 6 songs, I digress let me tackle my favorites.

Starting out with “Elevate feat. Midwxst prod. by Ooooze & Drako Bills”, that was literally my theme music today on my way to work, the entire aura of the song screams that bass boomed knocker that you playing on your way to get a bag. Midwxst gave a perfect feature non the song couldn’t have asked for more from his. On this song the bars were there, the quotables were there and the hook was a statement. Production wise Ooooze & Drako Bills gave a air but an exclusive trap beat that only artist like Uzi, Future, and Young Thug can execute exceptionally on. As a listener I love a melodic centered rap song if that makes any sense and when I turned on “Chrome Hearts prod. by Donovan Wayne” off the project I locked in automatically the song was just pure inspiration. I listened and wanted to go conquer the world, the energy was there, the mirror reflection’s of him as a artist from before he figured out that music was his calling came into play. I lost it, this is a very important element of great music that artists neglect they focus more on the now and not too much on the before or the how. But we need the past to understand the present a lot of times in life, so that song was my undisputed favorite record off the project and I personally added that to my playlist. I could go on for days about Tino Szn but I’m gonna let the fans and listeners dive into this phenomenal artist of this generation that is definitely up next.
