The prince of nostalgia has returned with an anthem of sentimentality that paints his emotions as if they were your own. Tender guitar melodies set the mood as Coop’s recognizable distortion-doting vocal chain emerges. As always, Coop emphasizes his melodic hooks and captivates us with his dramatic, love-spell lyricism throughout the rest of the song. The Boston-based rock star hits the nail on the head when it comes to creating a universe of memories you forgot you had. As a fellow DEADLOCK RIOT collaborator, I’ve seen Coop make leaps and bounds in the past few years and I’m excited to continue watching him excel. Curfew by Coop sounds a late night drive; just make sure you don’t stay out too late.
