On August 31st Daily Chiefers and Grooverelly join forces to bring “The Big Burn”, a show brining some big names in the underground music scene. Located at the Pink Sonato in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania names such as BigBabyGucci and Kevin Kazi as well as other new school artist will be taking the stage in one of the undergrounds most famous cities. With tickets being only $10 and with such a great line up, this show is a can’t miss for anyone who loves high energy shows.
The lineup consists of Austin Skinner, a Virginia-based artist brining in big numbers with his latest album “Lover” with features from Belis and BigBabyGucci. Fans of video game type beats and fans of Yung Lean type vocals will resonate with a lot of people. His light and airy beats compliment his auto tuned laced vocals which promises a great opening to a great show.
Next up on the roster is Lil Xelly, a young Maryland native working hard to cement his name in the music scene. Working on music since the age of 9 we can expect great things from both his music and performance. With a fast-paced flow and hard-hitting beats you can already except there to be pits, and with over 100 songs we can be sure Lil Xelly will bring some serious bangers.
Moving on we have Kevin Kazi of the “Neila World” collective and with such a large array of producers and artist he has created a unique sound with his fast flowing and bubbly voice. Working with Neila World’s producers creates a perfect pairing of beat and vocals which delivers some of the scenes most eccentric tracks. Taking from his music we can expect an animated and fiery set.
Last, we have BigBabyGucci, fresh off of his new album “Send Help” we can expect him to be extra energetic. Over all Gucci has a diverse array of music some being fast, some being slow, with varying tones and sometimes even completely different genres with songs like “This Is Not a Rap Song.” Collaborating with all the previously mentioned artist we might see some rare performances you won’t want to miss.
The Big Burn will go down at the Pink Sonata at 2301 N. 9th St. in Philadelphia, PA on August 31st. Tickets can be purchased here and doors are at 9 pm. Come to see four young and talented artist with an array of music perform their hearts out.
