The Chicago-hailed rapper’s new Bhristo-produced record is classically diaristic.

Whether it’s female partners who don’t stick around often, his affinity for prescriptions and fast cars, or even the transitory nature of having large amounts of cash to spend at all times, LUCKI makes it all look the coolest and sound the best. That’s because its always 100% him, and it’s nothing new. This time around, production by Bhristo provides a perfect home for the Chicagoan to speak his mind across, on his first release since the collaborative WAKE UP LUCKI project with producer F1lthy.
On June 3rd, LUCKI posted a 24-second clip of the music video for “Y NOT?” on Instagram with #FreeSex hashtag captioned. Less than a week later, the Walker and Rews-directed cut came out. The scenes follow the star in and out of the studio on an early morning in Los Angeles, California.
