If there was ever a collaboration that I didn’t know that I needed, it is Tony Shhnow and ZeLooperz. Last Chance was released last week by the Atlanta artist, Tony Shhnow. Shhnow has been a heavy part of the ‘Pluggnb’ genre gaining recognition- a fusion of trap sounds with RnB influence.
The RnB influence shines especially on this track as ZeLooperz delivers an intoxicatingly sexy chorus- I don’t know what other word to use- it’s just enticing *shrugs*. His cocky swagger rides the RnB and 808 driven beat as he asks his women companion “what’d you say when you saw me?,” which seems to be a rhetorical question as he answers it for himself, saying “DAMN!”
He knows that girls say damn when he walks by. I don’t get any action but this song still makes me feel like I’m a straight player.
The song is only 2 minutes long, just enough time for the ZeLooperz chorus and insanely vibey verses from Tony and Z.
Even with raw vibe and energy aside, the lyrics are a surprisingly nice ode to how the rising star’s perception of romance has evolved over time.
