Je$$e is back with “Forget Me”

For those who don’t know Je$$e already. He is an artist coming out of Cleveland Ohio, with an alternative hiphop sound. After releasing “Barbie’‘ in November of 2020, Je$$e has been growing rapidly. “Barbie” has exceeded over 1M streams on each streaming platform. He has been growing his fan base and is starting to develop his sound more. With his newest release “Forget Me”, Je$$e is bringing in an alternative sound filled with electric guitars. This sound has been increasingly getting popular with artists experimenting with guitars and punk elements.

“Forget Me” is a perfect blend of alternative and hiphop giving it a special sound that entrances you to keep listening. The guitars and Je$$e’s vocals give this record such a raw sound that I want to hear more of. My favorite part of “Forget Me” is when Je$$e sings, “Let me count up my cash real quick…”, and the money counter sound plays. Je$$e is definitely finding his lane and his voice sounds more confident. “Forget Me” is a staple of sound that I believe we are going to start seeing artists sway to in 2021. With punk revival and artists wanting to use live guitars on tracks, I think Je$$e will be at the top of this sound.
