glaive and ericdoa have blessed our ears again. Accompanied by a visual, “cloak n dagger” is a song about glaive telling his past girlfriend to fuck off and that he has moved on. glaive hasn’t been missing, he drops consistently and his music is always pristine. “cloak n dagger” has that hyperpop sound that has made these two into the artists they are. In the video, glaive is found laying in his bathtub with single dollar bills and something to say! I was really hyped they put the lyrics at the bottom, you know it’s a hit when someone does that.
eric and glaive are inseparable, the two together make every song a hit. When the two collaborate, no one body’s the other on their verses – each artist brings to the table something different. The song and video were both made on the same day, very impressive for how high quality the song turned out. I am very excited to see what the two create together next.
