Two years since the release on Sound Cloud, Nick Prosper finally debuts his Rockstar EP on official streaming platforms. Opting for a much grittier sound than with some of his most recent music, the Rockstar EP is a heavy-hitting listen. Clearly unafraid to switch his sounds up constantly, it’s great to re-listen to this project after hearing the new directions that he has chosen to take with his music.
The Rockstar EP has done extremely well in the two years that is has been out on Sound Cloud, racking up several hundred thousand plays on each of the four tracks. With one feature, Denver-based rapper and long time friend ITSOKTOCRY on the track Gwap, this early project from Prosper puts his new music into perspective and allows newer fans to experience some of the different influences that make up his unique sound today.
This is some of the most aggressive music that we have heard from the Brooklyn-based rapper. Off The Henny Freestyle give us a look at the raw talent that Prosper possesses as he drips all over the beat without writing anything.
If you missed this project the first time around, now is the perfect time to give some of Prosper’s older music a real listen. Be sure to check out the Rockstar EP, out now finally on all steaming platforms!
