The fearless prodigy from Portland, Oregon brings her “flame-spitting” abilities her life.

Okay, so here’s a timeline for those who may have been preoccupied the past couple of days. To start this week, Wynne posted the cover art for DO MY OWN STUNTS, an EP set to drop November 11th. Behind the boards for this entire project is award-winning producer Christo, most notable for helping craft the sound of the East Atlanta-bred Dreamville wordsmith JID. Swiping right on @siwawynne‘s Instagram post, to the right was an affirmation typed by the artist about the meaning behind the project.
Thursday, the music video for “CARROT CAKE” was uncovered. The 2-minute single is a lava-rock of a record on which Wynne delivers a lyrical exercise. Her hook is impeccable and hits you after only six seconds in: “fore you speak, you should be aware I’m keeping score / Green and orange, on my handbag, carrot cake I need a fork, si señor / You can cut my check, but you can’t crease the force, we indoors / And all that jazz, all that, all that, it’s all that-“
The music video’s flare matches that of the EP’s artwork but with a twist. Take a look at the “CARROT CAKE” visual to see for yourself, and be on the lookout for DO MY OWN STUNTS by Wynne and Christo early next month.
