O Racks drops new single “I’m The Type (feat. Rhoco Benjie & Zeeko)”

O Racks (@TreeGang_racks) connected with Yozora, a producer who has worked with Drake, for “I’m The Type.” The follow-up to “We Made It” includes features from Rhoco Benjie and Zeeko. New York native O Racks adopts a Detroit / LA-influenced flow on the track.

“In Hollywood, everyone parties together. When you’re not an LA native, you notice the locals’ taste in music. From what I witnessed, most people gravitate toward Cali and Detroit type beats because the energy makes it easy to dance to, so I told the producer to send me something in that lane. Soon as I heard it, the first verse just flew out.” O Racks said.

Born and raised in Hempstead, O Racks decided to pursue a professional music career at an early age. He began rapping, creating songs and traveling outside of the tri-city area to Rhode Island, California, Atlanta and Miami. With each release, he accumulated more fans and improved his craft, eventually catching the attention of Rich The Kid. O Racks’ relationship with Rich The Kid led to the creation of two records, “Prices” and “Look At Me,” which received radio airplay quickly after being released. O Racks later established his own independent music label, Tree Gang Entertainment.
