Foreign Jay and Choppa Lu link for their new track titled “Tekken.” The track contains a futuristic sound to go along with a stumbling drum line. Bobby Johnson produced this track, which calls for this type of percussion pattern, which he does so well. The drum arrangement makes listeners turn their heads and forces them to bob along with the instruments. The lyrics and flows consist of catchy phrases along with high energy that jumps up, down, and all over the place.
The pair knew the exact vocals they were going to lay on the track as soon as they heard the beat. One can hear how naturally they fit. When they cut the beat for the line, “Hit that bitch, BINGO” it is such a crazy hard drop, definitely one of my favorite parts. Tekken is going to be on repeat and needs to be in any hype playlist.
