Nick Prosper releases new project Feel Free

Battling depression, heartbreak, and addiction is never an easy task but if there is one thing that this New York-based rapper will do, it’s prosper. Nick Prosper is back with a great new project titles Feel Free. This project feels like some of the most confident music that we have heard from the New York native.

“I don’t got shit but problems, but I still fuck up commas”

The 6-track, 13-minute effort, that dropped back on December 11th, Prosper’s birthday, has just one feature, close friend and long time musical partner ITSOKTOCRY. Showcasing strong production from BOY FLOSS, among others, Feel Free seems to be Nick Prosper’s best project to date.

This project is the follow-up to his 2017 EP, Backstabber, and Prosper has matured greatly since then. Appearing to be in a completely different space than he was with the last release, we are hearing some of his best music on the new effort. Expressing via social media that he has been able to kick a brutal Xanax addiction, he is now one year free from pills and his music has never been better.

The single to the project, Death Metal, was dropped with a video prior to the release of Feel Free. The music video, which featured Prosper and his crew, comprised of BOY FLOSS among others, and model Morgan Joyce was directed by Brean Hugh. Prosper and Hugh have worked before in the past on videos such as the Almost There track that dropped about two months ago.
