Tommy Ice Wraps up The Season With “Cold Summer”

Atlanta-based artist Tommy Ice has been taking the music scene by storm with his consistent releases of bangers. Today, he released the highly-anticipated album titled “Cold Summer,” which features artists guardin, Thekidszn, and Bernard Jabs.

The 10 track album is a vibe from start to finish. Displaying emotions on tracks such as “say it gets better with time,” and others, you can see who Tommy Ice truly is. A very emotional track, “Often,” really hits home for me personally as he opens up about his anxiety which isn’t easy to express at times.

While Tommy does an excellent job making this album emotional, he also does a phenomenal job with creating many vibes. On the track “You & Me,” Tommy opens up about his emotions but does so in an uptempo style which makes for an exciting track. On the track “Red,” Tommy talks about how he gets the bag over a very cloudy melody with added drums. Tommy gets real aggressive on the track “Problems,” where he’s negating a lot of things and emphasizes how he talks to the money and gets it all on his own.

Mentioned previously, the features on this album are quite amazing. The second track, “Imagine,” features guardin and they both compliment each other’s sound flawlessly. The way that Tommy and guardin flows together on this upbeat production is something I will have on repeat for a long time. The fourth track “Heart On My Sleeve,” features Thekidszn, who has been such an exciting artist to watch for me. Both Tommy and Thekidszn share the chorus and they bounce off each other seamlessly. Last but not least, the eighth track “Prada,” features a well known artist, Bernard Jabs, who does his thing on this track. Bernard Jabs never fails to come through when it comes to features.

It’s no doubt that Tommy Ice released the perfect album to end the Summer. The album is a work of art and it just proves that Tommy is one of the hardest working artists in the scene.
